I’m a film director based in Berlin/Germany and London/UK. I love humour and comedy, enjoy working with grown-up and not-so-grown-up actors, and, given that I also make long-form documentaries, I’m fascinated by capturing real life.
I went to film school in Munich (the HFF), where I studied documentary film directing and commercial directing. I also studied Economics in Madrid, Munich and London (graduated from the London School of Economics) and did a Master’s and PhD in Film Studies at the University of Cambridge (with a thesis on the films of Ulrich Seidl and Christian Petzold).
I speak German, English, French and Spanish and have filming experience in Germany, UK, France, Portugal, Romania, Croatia, Belgium, Switzerland, USA, Ghana, Rwanda, DR Congo and Saudi Arabia.
